Human Realm Deck
“A little bit of everything, and an answer for almost anything.”
Human Realm Strategy
Human is the game's generalist toolbox: War Cry buffs your whole board, Formation rewards grouping units, Fortify (printed as Resolve) provides sustain, and Arcane Discovery is the only spell in the game that lets you pick a card straight from your own faction's full pool.
How the Deck Plays
Play reactively to what the opponent is doing; Human rarely has a single 'best' line, so read the board and pick the right tool for the moment.
- Early game: Play efficient units on curve and use Arcane Discovery if your hand is missing a piece you need.
- Mid game: Lean into whichever tool the matchup calls for — War Cry to push damage, Formation and Fortify to hold the board.
- Late game: Close with a big War Cry swing or a finisher like Titan once you've read out the game.
Key Mechanics
Human Realm is built around 4 core keywords:
- WAR CRY
- FORMATION
- FORTIFY
- DISCOVER
Discover shows you three cards from your own faction's card pool and lets you keep one — it's a way to fill a gap in your hand with exactly what you need.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths
- No glaring weakness — has tools for aggro, defense, and value
- Arcane Discovery smooths out bad draws
- Paladin's Taunt-plus-Charge is a flexible, hard-to-answer threat
Weaknesses
- Lacks a single overpowering game plan compared to more specialized decks
- Jack-of-all-trades identity means no standout strength either
- Can be out-specialized by a deck built to counter one specific angle
Recommended Strategy
Adapt turn to turn rather than committing to one single line — Human has a tool for almost every situation, including aggression, defense, and card selection.
Win condition: Out-value and out-adapt the opponent with a wide mechanical toolkit until a War Cry-buffed board or a late threat like Titan closes it out.
