Mythic Beasts Strategy

Beast is a tribal go-wide deck built entirely around creatures that grow stronger for every other Beast you control. Pack Hunt units scale their own damage off your board count, Formation buffs reward keeping the line intact, and top-end threats like Chimera and Roc turn a wide board into a Rally-fueled alpha strike.

How the Deck Plays

Play a new Beast every turn you can afford one and avoid trading it away — Pack Hunt and Formation both punish you for having fewer bodies on board than your opponent expects.

Key Mechanics

Mythic Beasts is built around 4 core keywords:

Most of your creatures get stronger just from having other Beasts next to them in play — the more you have out, the harder each one hits.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths

  • Extremely consistent low curve — always have a play
  • Snowballs fast once 3-4 Beasts are on board
  • Alpha's Call refills your hand off your own board count

Weaknesses

  • A single wide sweeper or removal spell erases your entire game plan
  • Falls off if forced to play from behind
  • Few individual threats can close a game alone

Recommended Strategy

Flood the board with cheap, efficient Beasts early, then let your scaling keywords and Rally payoffs turn that width into overwhelming damage.

Win condition: Overrun the enemy castle with a wide board of buffed Beasts before they stabilize.
