The Realm That Adapts

The Human Realm holds no singular doctrine, and its commanders have stopped apologizing for that. Where other kingdoms train for one kind of war, the Realm trains for the war it's actually in — whichever one that turns out to be.

Historians in rival kingdoms call this a weakness: a realm with no specialty, no singular terror to warn their children about. Human commanders call it the only strategy that has never gone obsolete. A specialist wins the war they prepared for. The Realm wins whichever war it's given.
